Briana Rossi - Style Summary

        Michael Kenna is a landscape photographer. He was born in England.  He likes to photograph at night with long exposures, and during early morning when the light looks interesting. His photographs are in black and white. He has worked commercially and privately. I love the skies and unusual angles in his photography.  The perspectives he chooses leaves the image looking otherworldly

Galen Rowell lived from 1940 to 2002. He lived in California and was a wildlife photographer. He was also a mountain climber.  He photographed on Nikon cameras and developed new filters for photos with heavy contrast.  I like his photographs because of how he captures the image.  The images are taken almost as if you sere there.  For mountain photographs it looks like we are looking up at them,

Lady Hawarden was born in 1822 and lived until 1865.  She photographed mainly her daughters. She had her own studio in her home in England.  She became a member of London's photographic society in 1864. During her career she made over 800 prints.  What i like most about her images is that he images look as though they're of porcelain dolls and not actual people.  Furthermore, many of the images I found look as though  they have mirrors in them.  Lady Hawarden seems almost as she is playing with reflection.
